Coming off of a 13-2 beatdown in Saturday’s series opener, the Atlanta Braves will try to get back on track Sunday night against the New York Mets. It definitely will not be an easy task with Jacob deGrom scheduled to make the start for New York. The Braves will counter with lefty Max Fried, who had his scheduled start on Saturday pushed back due to Friday’s rainout.
After a rough start to the season, Fried has looked more like the 2020 version of himself. Since returning from stint on the injured list due to a hamstring strain, Fried has allowed four runs in 24 innings, a stretch spanning four starts.
