The Arizona Diamondbacks wrap up a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves on April 27, with right-handed pitcher Brandon Pfaadt (4-1, 2.73) set to face the Braves' Spencer Schwellenbach (1-1, 2.56).
Pfaadt has arguably been the Diamondbacks' most effective starting pitcher so far in 2025, and it's hard to imagine that he was actually thought of as being in competition for a spot in the rotation during spring training.
Following an off day on April 28, the Diamondbacks head to the Eastern time zone for the third time this month to open a three-game series with one of the National League's top teams, the New York Mets.
