The Atlanta Braves got their road trip off on a good note Friday night with a 7-2 win over the Miami Marlins. The game wasn’t without incident however as it was the first meeting between the Braves and Marlins’ pitcher Jose Ureña since he hit Ronald Acuña Jr. with a pitch last August.
Kevin Gausman sent a message in the second inning throwing a 97 mph fastball behind Ureña and was immediately ejected from the game. Touki Toussaint came on and bridged the gap to help secure the win.
