CAIRO- The Jackie Robinson Boys and Girls Club was hosted by the Atlanta Braves last Saturday, as the team came from behind and defeated the Minnesota Twins, 6-4.
The annual event is part of Jackie Robinson Day, where students from the club are invited to a fun-filled day of activities in Atlanta. After being escorted out of Cairo by the Cairo Police Department, children in the club are transported on a 55-seat charter bus to the capital city.
