Atlanta Braves fans, breathe easy. The Strider you know, the one who sends hitters back to the dugout shaking their heads, appears to be making his triumphant return. After a stellar 13-strikeout performance in his last outing, former Clemson standout Spencer Strider was lights out once again on Thursday night, notching his second win of the 2025 season against the rival New York Mets.
The right-hander carved through the Mets lineup, surrendering just one run on five hits and a single walk over six masterful innings.
