ATLANTA -- Ender Inciarte has positioned himself to realize the goal he set last year, when he said was determined to ensure his first Rawlings Gold Glove Award would not be his last.
As for R.A. Dickey, if he chooses to retire, his last major award could be his second Gold Glove.
Dickey and Inciarte were named Gold Glove finalists at their respective positions on Thursday afternoon. They were the only Braves players nominated for this defensive award.
Inciarte joins the Nationals Michael A. Taylor and the Reds' Billy Hamilton as the finalists for the Gold Glove that will be presented to a National League center fielder.
