In 2016 he had one of the fastest pitches in MLB. Now he’s looking for a new team.

The Atlanta Braves released relief pitcher Mauricio Cabrera on Wednesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s David O’Brien reported. Cabrera’s release ends an eight-year stretch in the Braves’ organization that peaked in 2016, when he reached the major leagues.

#Braves’ Soroka hasn’t resumed throwing yet....Snit not sure if Jose Ramirez will pitch again this season.... Also, Braves released Mauricio Cabrera today. 102-mph FB at one point. Had lot of chances and just couldn’t regain his command.
