Ian Anderson is set to take the mound after he was set to start Friday before the postponement due to rain. Ian hasn’tgotten as much buzz as he did last season, but the rookie hurler has been stellar and is solidly in the rookie of the year hunt, with a 2.82 ERA and good FIP and xFIP numbers. He’ll face off against Taijuan Walker for the Mets, who has also been very good this season, although with worse peripherals in general. This is obviously a big series even this early, as both teams vie for the top spot in the NL East, as the entire division is very even at the moment.
