Good time to take Jose Ramirez show on the road as Guardian's MVP case overshadowed

CLEVELAND — Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez has been must-see TV all season.

Arguably that’s been the case for six consecutive years.

But nationally, the helmet-losing, head-first sliding, energetic MVP campaign Ramirez is putting together is being overshadowed.

New York Yankees’ right-fielder Aaron Judge is stealing Ramirez’s thunder with his Major League-leading 24 home runs and .318 batting average through his first 58 games.

Ramirez continued to lead the majors through Sunday with 59 RBIs.
