Gambler released on $100,000 bond after allegedly threatening Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, other athletes

A 23-year-old gambler named Ben "Parlay" Patz has been released on $100,000 bond after appearing in federal court on charges that he threatened several athletes and their families.

The targets of the vicious threats reportedly included both Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, who were threatened after Patz lost a $10,000 bet on the Rams to win Super Bowl LIII.

The threats themselves were particularly disturbing. Be warned, the language is very offensive.
