A former Tiger officially has a new MLB home. Former Clemson infielder turned MLB outfielder Eli White was traded to the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night according to the organization’s Twitter.
Prior to the trade, White had spent the last three seasons with the Texas Rangers. The 28-year-old’s 2022 season ended early in mid-June due to wrist and knee injuries.
The #Braves tonight acquired OF Eli White from the Texas Rangers in exchange for cash considerations. To make room on the 40-man roster, the club designated INF Hoy Park for assignment.
