Former Mets infielder Luis Guillorme has signed a one-year, $1.1 million deal with the division rival Atlanta Braves.
Guillorme was one of the longest-tenured players remaining on the Mets' roster, but with a crowded infield situation and not much of a role, new President of Baseball Operations David Stearns decided it was time to go in a different direction.
