ATLANTA, Ga. (WSAV) — Hayden Harris, a former Georgia Southern Eagle and Savannah Banana, made it to Major League Baseball (MLB) for the first time when he was selected to the major league roster by the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday.
Harris had previously received non-roster Spring Training invites from the Braves but has never made the roster during the MLB regular season. He played in the 2025 Futures Game at Truist Park in Atlanta as part of All-Star Weekend.
Harris appeared for the Columbus Clingstones, the Braves’ AA affiliate, and the Gwinnett Stripers, the AAA affiliate, in 2025 before getting the promotion.
