Former Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Nakobe Dean threw out the first pitch of the Philadelphia Phillies' June 11 home game against the Chicago Cubs. Dean won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles this past NFL season.
Dean took advantage of an awesome opportunity to throw a first pitch at a MLB game, which is something most people never get a chance to do. Dean delivered with a pretty good pitch after receiving applause from Philadelphia fans.
Georgia fans that are also Atlanta Braves fans may not be ecstatic to see Dean throw out a first pitch for another MLB team, especially since the Phillies are one of the Braves' most hated NL East rivals.
