Folty Falters, Bats Struggle as Cards beat Braves 14-3

The Cardinals connected for four home runs, three of which were of the three-run variety, in a 14-3 victory over the Braves Tuesday night. This seemed to be one of those nights for the Braves from the get go, as Mike Foltynewicz was hit hard early and often.

The Cardinals got the scoring started in the top of the first when three runs crossed the plate via the bat of Marcell Ozuna. A single by Jose Martinez in the third brought home a fourth run, and then Dexter Fowler put the Cardinals up by five with a solo shot in the fourth.
