When we look back at the 2021 baseball season, we’ll remember it for a midseason crackdown on sticky stuff, an overwhelmingly unproductive group of first-round players and the looming disruptive presence of a virus that just won’t go away.
But while those lowlights certainly made life uncomfortable throughout the year, the emergence of an unprecedented talent was by far the one thing we’ll remember most.
Fantasy managers needed to find ways to overcome those unexpected developments if they were going to win a league title. And, of course, a little luck always helps.
