The Atlanta Braves weren’t the strongest defensive team in 2017 but have a pair of finalists for the 2017 Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Ender inciarte is a finalist for the second straight season after winning the award last year while R.A. Dickey hopes to win his second career Gold Glove.
The other finalists in center field for the National League are Cincinnati’s Billy Hamilton and Washington’s Michael Taylor.
Per Statcast, Inciarte led all of baseball with seven five star outs. He finished second behind only Minnesota’s Byron Buxton with 19 outs above average.
