After another offensive outburst, the Atlanta Braves will go for a sweep when they wrap up a three-game series Sunday afternoon against the Washington Nationals. The Braves took the opener Friday 4-2 and then exploded for a 12-2 win on Saturday.
Dansby Swanson and Ozzie Albies have combined for five of Atlanta’s eight home runs in the series. Albies has homered in four straight games and finished a double shy of a cycle Saturday. Swanson has three homers in the series and has driven in seven runs.
Drew Smyly will make his 21st start of the season for Atlanta Sunday and will be looking to build off of a good performance last time out.
