In 2013 Mike Foltynewicz made a dazzling Double-A debut for the Hooks.

The 19th overall selection in the 2010 MLB Draft struck out eight of the first nine batters he faced, pitching five shutout innings at San Antonio's Wolff Municipal Stadium.

Foltynewicz led the Hooks to a 3-0 win, which was aided by George Springer's Texas League-leading 11th home run of the season.
