Detroit Tigers acquire Rafael Montero from Atlanta Braves

The Detroit Tigers got some much-needed bullpen help. On Wednesday evening, the Tigers acquired Rafael Montero from the Atlanta Braves.

The 34-year-old is joining his sixth organization since coming up with the New York Mets back in 2014. He was a World Series Champion with the Astros during the 2022 season. His best season came in 2022. He was 502 that season, and had an ERA of 2.37. In his career, he is 22-29

This year he is 0-1, with a 5.40 earned run average. He has made 39 appearances, including three to start the season with the Astros.
