We don’t have giant September rosters anymore, so the Braves will likely rotate some off-days for all the regulars over the next few days. Today, it’s Freddie Freeman, Jorge Soler, Adam Duvall, Dansby Swanson, and Travis d’Arnaud getting a break.
In terms of starts for the Braves, it’s kind of amusing:
- Pederson: 19th in RF, 18th at leadoff;
- Adrianza: seventh at 3B, first time hitting second;
- Arcia: second at SS;
- Heredia: 81st in CF, 21st time hitting seventh; and
- Contreras: 45th at C, eighth time hitting eighth.
