For those who are not watching the game this evening, the Braves are currently playing against the Mets during what appears to be monsoon season. During such games, one just hopes that the Braves players get through the game healthy as the conditions can definitely lend themselves to guys getting hurt.
Well, it didn’t take long for something less than desirable to happen.
Dansby Swanson appeared to get hurt in his first at-bat of the game. He ended up making an out to center field, but clearly winced on a swing in the at-bat and the Braves wasted no time in pulling him from the game.
