Citi Field to return to full capacity for Monday's Mets-Braves doubleheader

The Mets announced on Wednesday that Citi Field will return to full capacity starting Monday, June 21, when the team plays a doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves.

The club announced that social distancing and mask requirements at the ballpark have been eased effective immediately, and fans no longer need to show proof of a negative COVID test and/or vaccination to enter the ballpark with a valid ticket.

As local and state guidelines have eased COVID-19 restrictions, the Mets have gradually increased their capacity throughout the 2021 season. As of Friday, June 11, the venue was up to 80 percent capacity, with 90 percent of those seats being for vaccinated fans.
