A pair of former Atlanta Braves will be soon lending their expertise to future MLB stars.
Hall of Famer Chipper Jones and two-time All-Star Marquis Grissom have been named the managers for the 2025 All-Star Futures Game in Atlanta it was announced Monday.
"This is a tremendous opportunity, one that I just couldn't pass up," Jones said during an interview with MLB Central following the announcement.
"The last time the All-Star Game was in Atlanta, I was actually playing in it. The time before that, Hank Aaron was actually playing in it. Any chance you get to be a part of this, and especially get an up close and personal look at the next generation coming up, and being in charge of allowing them to be able to showcase their talents to the best of their ability in the Futures Game, I couldn't pass that up.
