After splitting yesterday’s series-opening doubleheader, the Braves and the Mets continue on with what figures to be a very, very crucial series with the trade deadline looming.
For the second game in a row, there’s a little bit of uncertainty as to who’s going to be doing the starting pitching for the Mets. The second game of yesterday’s doubleheader ended up being a bullpen game for New York and it actually ended up working out really well for them. However, doing a bullpen game two days in a row seems like a bit of risky move on their part but if any team could do it, the Mets are one of those teams.
