ATLANTA, Ga. (July 13, 2025) – A cornerstone player in ETSU baseball’s historic 2025 campaign will be moving on to the professional ranks as shortstop Cody Miller was selected in the third round (96th pick) in the 2025 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves on Sunday evening.
The Rocky Point, N.C. native started every game at shortstop for the Bucs and hit near the top of the order throughout his junior campaign. For the season, Miller hit .331 with 18 home runs and 58 RBI with a team-high 27 stolen bases.
