Things have gotten real quickly for the Atlanta Braves in just Day 2 of camp. Brian Snitker broke the news Saturday that four players including All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman and reliever Will Smith have tested positive for COVID-19. Touki Toussaint and reserve shortstop Pete Kozma were the other players to test positive. Both Smith and Toussaint are asymptomatic but Freeman and Kozma are dealing with the effects of the virus.
Snitker spoke with each player this morning before speaking to the media and all agreed to have their positive status released to the media.
