Jan. 28—Hamburg recently inducted three new members into its athletic Hall of Fame: Shelley Reppert Fayewicz, Erin Caretti and Larry Werner.
Shelley Reppert Fayewicz: Fayewicz, a 2002 Hamburg grad, earned four varsity letters each in softball, basketball and track. She was a two-time All-Berks pick and an All-State selection in field hockey. As a senior, she was named a team captain, team MVP, the MVP in Berks II, the senior scholar athlete in Berks II and to the National Academic Squad. She played field hockey collegiately at Susquehanna University. She was the MAC Commonwealth co-Rookie of the Year as a freshman and a second-team all-conference pick as a sophomore.
