ATLANTA – The Milwaukee Brewers are going to return to American Family Field with some serious momentum on their side.
Thanks to home runs from Andrew Vaughn and Blake Perkins and José Quintana’s first quality start in nearly a month, they put the wraps on an undefeated road trip with a 5-4 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night, Aug. 6 at Truist Park.
Perkins finished a triple shy of the cycle and also drove in a pair of runs, while Isaac Collins collected three more hits and reached base four times and Sal Frelick singled twice and reached base three times in his first game since Aug.
