The Braves will option Mike Foltynewicz to Triple-A Gwinnett, according to MLB’s Mark Bowman.
The news comes after yet another frustrating night on the mound for Foltynewicz in which he surrendered eight runs on eight hits and two walks across 4+ innings. It was clear from the early going he was not right as the Nationals hit him hard throughout the evening.
