The Atlanta Braves have been involved in some high scoring innings during the 2025 season alone, but ninth-inning outbursts seem to come more frequently when they are playing the Miami Marlins. On Tuesday night the Braves were locked into another low-scoring Hurston Waldrep start. With the game tied 2-2 entering the ninth, the Braves offense suddenly woke up in a big way.
Vidal Brujan doubled home the go ahead run to open the floodgates, and then the runs came pouring in. Ozzie Albies capped off the impressive ninth inning with his second homer of the game (a three-run shot), and pushed the Braves ninth inning run total to nine runs.
