Players were just about ready to take the field at the MLB Speedway Classic on Saturday, Aug. 2, but then the rain came in.
The MLB Speedway Classic between the Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves, set to be the most-attended MLB game ever, is currently in a rain delay after a storm swept in the area of Bristol, Tennessee, at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
More than 85,000 tickets were purchased for the much-anticipated game, with Tennessee natives Chase Burns and Spencer Strider taking the mound for the Reds and Braves, respectively.
