The 12-8 Braves and 3-18 Reds will keep their fingers crossed that Monday’s weather will allow them to square off in Cincinnati. The forecast isn’t looking too promising, but if this one goes down, it’ll be Mike Foltynewicz against Sal Romano in game one.
This is the first of a four-game tilt. The Braves have won five of their seven series, and tied another. The only series the Reds have taken this year was on a technicality - they won the first game of a two-gamer against the Cubs on April 2, then the second game was called due to weather.
