The Atlanta Braves have traded right-hander Shane Carle to the Texas in exchange for cash considerations according to John Blake who is the Executive Vice President of Communications for the Rangers. The Braves designated Carle for assignment earlier this week.
Rangers have acquired RHP Shane Carle from Atlanta for cash considerations. He has been added to 40-man roster and optioned to Nashville. To make room, RHP Kyle Dowdy has been activated from the 10-day IL and designated for assignment. Carle has split 2019 between ATL & Gwinnett.
