It was a frustrating night for the Braves, who fell to the Rockies on Friday night by a score of 4-3.
For whatever reason, Atlanta was hyper aggressive all night in the batter’s box and had nothing to show for it. They only saw 94 pitches across nine innings and seemingly swung early in the count at every opportunity. In this recent stretch of frustrating losses, I’m not sure any were more frustrating than this one.
Ozzie Albies, who returned to the lineup after missing the last two games with a bruised kneecap, led off the night with a solo homer to center.
