The Atlanta Braves have somewhat recovered from a nightmare start to this season and have climbed all the way back into the playoff picture. Injuries and inconsistent play have cost the Braves, but they have clawed their way back to a 19-20 record and are a win away from being back to .500.
They have done that for most of the season without their best pitcher, Spencer Strider. The Atlanta ace missed the start of the season after recovering from Tommy John surgery to repair an elbow injury, but he made just one start before going back on the injured list.
