The Braves seem to be at a bit of a crossroads this season, particularly with their pitching staff, and they seem to be well aware of it. Just yesterday, the team signed old friend Shane Greene to a one year deal to reinforce a bullpen that has had its ups and down. Between Greene and presumed imminent return of Chris Martin, things should improve for the bullpen.
However, there are still questions surrounding the Braves’ rotation and with the team’s fortunes turning in the past week or so, getting some depth in the system to guard against future injuries and/or other setbacks isn’t the worst idea in the world.
