Braves set ‘hopeful’ return date for ace Mike Soroka

Atlanta Braves righty Mike Soroka is one of the best young arms in baseball and even finished as a heavy candidate in the NL Cy Young race in 2019. But just days into the 2020 campaign, the Canadian suffered a torn Achilles. Fast forward to the beginning of this past season and Soroka re-injured it.

That being said, the Braves are still without their ace. However, the team has set a hopeful return date for Soroka. Next summer. Via Jon Heyman:

If he does come back by June or July, that would be over two years since his last pitch in the big leagues.
