PHILADELPHIA -- Responding to their recent bullpen woes, the Braves are planning to add right-handed relievers Michael Kohn and John Cornely to their active roster before Friday night's series opener against the Phillies.
Kohn and Cornely were en route to Philadelphia late Friday morning.
The depth of Atlanta's bullpen was further exposed on Thursday afternoon, when manager Fredi Gonzalez brought Ian Thomas and Sugar Ray Marimon, who both began the season in the Minors, into a tied game after Julio Teheran's pitch count exceeded 100 with one out in the fifth inning.
