The Atlanta Braves will try to make it two straight wins Thursday night when they open a four-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Drew Smyly will be on the mound for Atlanta while the Pirates will counter with right-hander Wil Crowe.
No surprises in the Braves’ lineup as Brian Snitker will roll with his regulars. Austin Riley sticks in the fifth spot in the order while Guillermo Heredia will be in center and hitting eighth.
This will be Atlanta’s first look at Crowe in a Pirates’ uniform. They saw limited opportunities last season while he was a member of the Nationals.
