The Atlanta Braves shift their starting rotation ahead of their series finale against the New York Mets.
The Braves released right-handed veteran Eric Fedde on Sunday. Fedde was acquired from St. Louis on July 27 for cash or a player to be named later, and he only started in four games for Atlanta.
In those four games, Fedde was 1-2 with an 8.10 ERA. In 25 games in total in 2025 with St. Louis and Atlanta, the 32-year-old is 4-12 with a 5.76 ERA.
Right-handers Wander Suero and Hunter Stratton are looking to help the Braves salvage the series finale against the Mets and avoid a weekend series sweep.
