The Atlanta Braves made a roster move in advance of Thursday’s series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The club reinstated outfielder Ender Inciarte from the paternity list and optioned infielder Johan Camargo back to Gwinnett.
Inciarte was placed on the paternity list Monday and missed all of the Mets series. He is hitting .292/.346/.333 in limited playing time in 2021. Camargo has spent most of the season shuttling back and forth between Atlanta and Gwinnett. He hasn’t appeared in a game at the major league level since May 13 and is 0-for-13 on the season in 11 games.
