Braves recall Bryse Wilson, will start Tuesday’s game against Toronto

The Atlanta Braves recalled right-hander Bryse Wilson from Gwinnett and announced that he will start Tuesday’s series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays at Truist Park.

Atlanta optioned Wilson to the alternate site back on April 30. He has made three starts this season for the Braves and has struggled posting a 6.75 ERA and a 7.69 FIP although his expected 4.61 ERA suggests that he has been slightly unfortunate.

Wilson started on short rest during his last outing where he allowed seven hits and four runs in just three innings against the Cubs.
