ATLANTA -- The Braves validated their status as a file-and-trial club when they went to an arbitration hearing with Mike Minor last year. They might have to go through this same process yet again this year with their only two arbitration-eligible players -- right-handed relievers Arodys Vizcaino and Chris Withrow.
Because of previous health issues, Vizcaino and Withrow are both entering their first arbitration-eligible season with a limited and unique platform upon which to argue their respective salaries for the upcoming season. Both relievers have compiled just 56 innings at the Major League level.
