Braves reach .500 for first time in 2025 with 5-2 win over skidding Nats

ATLANTA — Drake Baldwin hit a two-run homer, Spencer Schwellenbach pitched seven strong innings and the Atlanta Braves improved to .500 for the first time this season with a 5-2 win over the skidding Washington Nationals on Tuesday night.

The Braves (21-21), who began the season 0-7, handed the Nationals their seventh straight loss.

Baldwin was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored.
