Cristian Pache is widely regarded as the top prospect in the Atlanta Braves system right now, and there are people who rank him in the Top 5-10 prospects in the entire league.
Pache, a 6’2”, 215 pound Dominican Republic native, signed with the Braves in 2015 in the class made up of him and Derian Cruz, If you remember, Pache was a Top 20 prospect that July 2nd, but there was real debate as to whether Pache or Cruz was the better prospect at the time.
Of course it is also known that the now 21 year old Pache was involved in the Braves international penalties of the last few years, as he and Cruz were paid more than their reported amounts, making the highly rated class the team signed in 2016 ineligible, and they were all later set free.
