Prior to the Atlanta Braves doubleheader with the Washington Nationals, the club recalled two pitchers who made cameos in the early part of the 2025 season, sending off struggling arms Alexis Díaz and Connor Seabold to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Jose Suarez, the lefty acquired from the Angels at the very end of spring training will get the start in game one of the doubleheader, while Nathan Wiles will serve as a long relief option. To make room for Suarez on the 40-man roster, Sean Murphy was transferred to the 60-day IL.
