Braves News: Sean Kazmar outrighted to Gwinnett, Nate Jones released, Carl Edwards opts for free agency

The Braves made a series of roster moves on Monday evening, announcing infielder Sean Kazmar Jr. has been outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett, reliever Nate Jones has been released and reliever Carl Edwards Jr. elected free agency after being dropped to Gwinnett over the weekend.

Earlier on Monday, the Braves signed Tanner Roark to a minor league deal and promoted Johan Camargo as bench depth while sending Victor Arano and Jasseel De La Cruz back to Gwinnett.

Kazmar, the longtime journeyman, figures to continue bouncing back between Atlanta and Gwinnett as organizational depth.

Jones, who was designated for assignment last week after a poor start to the season, will look for work elsewhere.
