Clayton Kershaw turned in the best start of his career in the postseason on Friday firing eight shutout innings against the Atlanta Braves in a 3-0 win for the Dodgers. Manny Machado hit a two-run home run off of Anibal Sanchez in the first inning to put LA in front. Yasmani Grandal provided some insurance later with a solo shot of his own. Ronald Acuna finished with two of Atlanta’s three hits on the evening.
As expected, Brian Snitker confirmed on Friday that Kevin Gausman would start Game 3 on Sunday at SunTrust Park unless he was needed in relief in Game 2.
