The Atlanta Braves announced a couple of roster moves ahead of Friday’s matchup in Pittsburgh. Up first, the club selected infielder Luke Williams to the major league roster. Then, outfielder Eddie Rosario was designated for assignment.
Rosario appeared in just three games for the Braves this season, where he went hitless and logged eight innings in right field.
As for Williams, he will likely be used as a pinch runner, considering his underwhelming career stat line in other areas.
